Apply

Thank you for your interest in working with Camp Denali. We are now accepting applications for the 2024 season.

Full-season availability is an important factor in our hiring decisions. In 2024, staff will need to be in Alaska from Friday, May 24 through Thursday, September 12.

The following items are required as part of a complete application. You will need to save your cover letter and resume as one PDF in order to upload them both within the online application.

  • Cover Letter: We look forward to reading why you are interested in working at Camp Denali! What position(s) would you like to be considered for and how does working at Camp Denali align with your short and long-term goals? What are the dates of your availability? What skills and experiences make you a strong candidate? What would you bring to our small but vibrant community?

  • Resume: In addition to your work experience, we look forward to learning about your educational background and volunteerism.

We check references as part of our selection process. Applicants should be prepared for that request, if and when we reach that step together.

Camp Denali's Naturalist Guides are professionals who are eager to share their passion for Denali National Park

Step One:

Complete the online application; upload your resume and cover letter as a single attachment.

Step Two:

A one to two-hour phone interview with the Personnel Manager to discuss what it's like to work and live with Camp Denali. Invitations to interview are sent to selected applicants via email.

Step Three:

Skilled positions, such as Cooks and Naturalist Guides may be asked to participate in a second, skills-related phone interview with the Supervisor of their department.

Reference checks will be performed concurrently with steps three and four of our process for all applicants.

Step Four:

A virtual interview with a current or former staff member. This informal conversation is a great opportunity for applicants to get the scoop about what it's like to work with us from an insider.

If you have questions, please read through our FAQ page. Feel free to reach out directly if you still have questions. You can send an email to jobs@campdenali.com or call 907-683-2290.
