Ready to apply to join our community and team May 25th through September 15th, 2020?

We begin accepting applications in early November and interview staff on a rolling basis until all positions are filled, typically by the end of March.

Click here to begin your electronic application. You'll need to prepare the mandatory materials described below before submitting.

The following items are required as part of a complete application. When prompted to upload your resume, include all three items as one .pdf document. The application does not allow multiple attachments.

1)  A letter that addresses:

  • How you heard about Camp Denali and North Face Lodge
  • Why you want to work in this position
  • The job you are applying for
  • What sets you apart from other applicants
  • A description of your work ethic and the skills that qualify you for this position
  • A short description of your near-term goals
  • Your dates of availability. Are there any limitations on your availability between May 25th and September 15th, 2020?

2)  A current resume that indicates your education, volunteer, and work experiences.

3)  Three professional references. Provide their names, titles if they have one, relationship to you, and contact information; usually an email address and phone number will suffice.

Step One:

Fill out the electronic application; include your resume, cover letter, and references as a single attachment.

Step Two:

A one- to two-hour phone interview with the Personnel Manager to discuss what it's like to work and live with Camp Denali and North Face Lodge. Invitations to interview are sent to selected applicants via email.

Step Three:

Skilled positions, such as Cooks and Naturalist Guides may be asked to participate in a second, skills-related phone interview with the Supervisor of their department.

Reference checks will be performed concurrently with steps three and four of our process for all applicants.

Step Four:

An in-person or Skype/FaceTime interview at a location convenient to you will be arranged. This is an informal conversation with a current or former staff member, and an opportunity for you to get the scoop about what it's like to work with us from an insider.

Applicants for year-round positions may be required to travel to our property for a visit, in addition to the traditional steps of our interview process.

We regret we do not typically hire J1 or H2B visa holders. All employees are required to provide proof of identity and employment authorization that is valid through the length of their employment and does not require employer sponsorship.

Feel free to send an email to or call (907) 683-2290, should you have any questions!

Thank you,
