Thank you for your interest in working with Camp Denali. The 2023 season is underway, and we have completed our hiring. Please mark your calendar--we will reopen our application portal in mid-November for the 2024 season.
Full-season availability is an important factor in our hiring decisions. This year, staff needed to be on the ground in Anchorage, Alaska on May 23 and they will remain here through September 14.
The following items are required as part of a complete application. You will need to save your cover letter and resume as one PDF in order to upload them both within the online application.
Cover Letter: We look forward to reading why you are interested in working at Camp Denali! What position(s) would you like to be considered for and how does working at Camp Denali align with your short and long-term goals? What are the dates of your availability? What skills and experiences make you a strong candidate? What would you bring to our small but vibrant community?
Complete the online application; upload your resume and cover letter as a single attachment.
A one to two-hour phone interview with the Personnel Manager to discuss what it's like to work and live with Camp Denali. Invitations to interview are sent to selected applicants via email.
Skilled positions, such as Cooks and Naturalist Guides may be asked to participate in a second, skills-related phone interview with the Supervisor of their department.
Reference checks will be performed concurrently with steps three and four of our process for all applicants.
A virtual interview with a current or former staff member. This informal conversation is a great opportunity for you to get the scoop about what it's like to work with us from an insider.
